Mapping unbonding dates before you restake

Lock-up calendars collide with real life — property completions, school fees, travel. A short method we use in portfolio reviews.

Rewards get the attention; unbonding gets the surprise. Several clients arrive after discovering two networks release stakes in the same fortnight they need liquidity elsewhere.

Lay commitments beside lock-ups

In a portfolio staking review we ask for non-crypto dates first: rent cycles, tuition, planned transfers abroad. Only then do we place unbonding windows on the same calendar.

Restaking is optional

Nothing requires you to restake the day tokens unlock. The Smart Crypto Calculator PC can show the reward you forgo by waiting two weeks — often a calmer number than people fear — so the decision is explicit.

One export, one conversation

We keep the calendar on a single sheet. Family offices in particular use it in meetings where not everyone wants to open a wallet interface. If your lock-ups already feel tangled, bring the list; we will sort the dates before talking fees.
